Timothée Chalamet has a bit of a thing for Martine Rose. During a December appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay, he rocked an unreleased highlighter pink jacket from the London designer – and a scarf from 2024’s Supreme x Martine Rose collab. And to round out the year, he wore a baseball cap while filling up the tank.

Chalamet wore the ‘rolled back cap’ from Martine Rose’s autumn/winter 2024 collection, which amps up the usual design with extra rolled fabric at the back revealing “expect perfection” branding. It's just another day at the office for Chalamet, with the actor mixing high-end menswear and streetwear like it's no bother (he's done both modern day Britpop in Prada, and rare Air Jordans in recent months). So Martine Rose, who does everything from suits to Nike collabs, is a perfect fit.

Rose founded her namesake label in 2007, and often looks to London subcultures in her work, be that ravers, punks, or football fans. She subverts and incorporates these into her designs by playing with fit, proportion, and structure. Take Chalamet’s baseball cap: it’s got faded sports team style branding and textured laurel embroidery on the brim.

Chalamet joins a number of big name Martine Rose fans like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake. But it’s not the first time he’s rocked culty menswear in public. In February last year, he went for a hoodie vest from the Stüssy and Junya Watanabe collab and he does grails from Prada, Celine, and JW Anderson on the regular.

But the best bit about the Timothée Chalamet Martine Rose cap? It can be yours for £200.
