We want to dress like Tom Cruise when we grow up

At 60 years old, the Hollywood titan has never looked better

Tom Cruise is 60 years old. And so long and illustrious is his career that he's been doing the big explosion leading guy thing for close to half a decade. But despite the creaking passage of time, Cruise is not creaking. On the contrary, the Mission Impossible star has found his uniform that works at 30, and 40, and 50, and, yes, 60. The stuntman guns help fill it out, yes. And so does the round-the-clock LA team, but with results like these, we all want to dress like Tom Cruise when we grow up.

The actor is currently at the beginning of the press tour for the seventh film in the Mission Impossible franchise. Photographed in Rome this week, where he was attending a special screening of the upcoming film, Cruise was out there defying God's plan in the classic stuff that works year round. The knitted polo shirt is the muscle fit that every gym bro needs, and it's long become a Cruise go-to. Why? Because the cuffs complement hard-won biceps and it's the sort of classic that hangs in all the right places. Down south, there were a pair of slacks that sat a little tighter at the thigh (Cruise would never, ever miss a leg day, and nor should you), and Cool Guy Aviators were hiding him from the paparazzi. Again, a classic. And Joe Biden likes them a lot too, so y'know, a presidential endorsement is usually a good thing.

It's the grooming hacks that are keeping Cruise young, though. The lid is full. His smile: pearly white. His skin: dewy and glowing. This, guys, is how you age gracefully, and it speaks to the benefits of a long-term grooming regime. Look after your skin now, and chances are, you could look as good as Cruise at 60.

We'd even take 40, to be honest.
