What are the advantages of fixed gear bikes?

I can talk about this a little bit.

I enjoy it.

You know, you can keep your bike a little bit lighter.

I mean, I suppose like a single speed, you can do the same,

but it's nice, like, I like my bike

to be as light as possible, so I have one brake fixed gear,

which means there are no more gears, which is less weight.

I think just overall, you learn a lot more

about control on your bike.

Brakes are great, you know.

If you're just starting out on a bike,

I think you should definitely have brakes.

If you've been on a bike for a while

and you wanna try fixed gear,

I think you really find this really beautiful control

of the bike, and once you get good at it,

it's a really excellent feeling.

You really feel like you're one with the wheels.
