After dazzling and pissing off (depending on what you thought of it) audiences with a gripping new thriller series, Leila, Netflix has now announced a brand-new collaboration with Dharmatic, Dharma Productions’ digital content arm, and the first project of this collaboration is a film titled Guilty featuring Kiara Advani in the lead.

Directed by Ruchi Narain, Guilty will explore different versions of truth that emerge when a small-town girl accuses her college heartthrob of rape. The film will be seen through the eyes of the accused’s musician girlfriend (played by Kiara in the film) and intends to make the audience ponder on who is actually the guilty one in the case. This is Kiara's second outing on Netflix - last year, she came out as the surprise package in Lust Stories, playing the lead in Karan Johar's section of the anthology.
Speaking of Karan Johar, the producer-director left a rather emotional note on his social media pages, expressing pride for his newest protege.
