Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night played by Charlie Cox, and Kingpin, played by Vince D’Onofrio, as one time characters on Marvel’s original Netflix action series return for the trailer of Daredevil: Born Again.
A tense coffee meeting offers the trailer backdrop for an eventually violent reunion of Cox as Murdock, a blind lawyer with superpowers to fight for justice, and supervilliain Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (D’Onofrio), who is now mayor.
“I will admit, it’s not entirely unpleasant seeing you again,” Fisk tells Murdock at one point in the trailer. “I can’t shake the feeling you’re gaming the system,” Murdock tells Fisk who, judging by the scenes of fighting and destruction interspersed in the teaser, has not lost his violent streak.

In September 2023, Daredevil: Born Again hit the reset button and overhauled its planned 18-episode series after early footage failed to meet Marvel Studios’ expectations.
The Punisher writer Dario Scardapane was brought on as the new showrunner, and it was soon decided that the isolated Marvel universe that once resided on Netflix would become MCU canon.
The series also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, with Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal.
The executive producer credits are shared by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Scardapane, Matt Corman, Chris Ord, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
Daredevil: Born Again will release on March 4 on Disney+.
