We used Artifex Build for a rear extension in 2021. From the very first meeting we could tell Ed was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He was professional, friendly and explained exactly how things would work, the timescales and the costs. He was more than happy to answer all of our questions and give advice / recommendations. We highly recommend Ed and his team. They were respectful to our home and neighbours. The work was finished within the timescales and budget. Ed has a great attention to detail and ensures everything is finished to the highest standard. We couldn’t recommend Artifex Build enough and would certainly use them for any future projects.

Earlier this year we completed an entire renovation of our 1930s home with Artifex Build and we would highly recommend, in fact we already have to several family & friends! We converted the garage, added a side double storey extension with a single storey extension at the back. All windows and doors were replaced, not a room remained untouched. Ed & his entire team were fabulous throughout, from explaining the process at the start, keeping us up to date on the works, what would be happening each week and most importantly, fully explaining all options to us when it came to decision making at certain points of the project, which we found extremely helpful. Being completely new to the process we found it reassuring how good this communication was throughout. The team were professional and tidy, keeping our neighbours happy as well. I have photographed a number of completed projects for Artifex, ranging from extensions to full house renovations, to commercial projects I work within this field day in day out photographing different builds, and do not come across a higher standard of quality than that of Artifex - their attention to detail is outstanding. I always know that the aesthetic and design is going to be something special, something different from the status quo Aside from the quality of their work, the whole Artifex team is a pleasure to work with. Artifex Build recently rebuilt our bathroom and we are thrilled with the finished project. Our house is in a conservation area, so we were keen to hire someone reliable and with a good knowledge of Victorian houses to carry out the build. Artifex exceeded our expectations on every front. Ed is not only a talented builder, but also has a keen eye for beautiful and innovative design. He worked with us to design a bathroom that is even better than we had initially hoped it could be, and his crew built it to perfection. Moreover, Ed and every member of his crew were reliable contractors and excellent house guests - I think they left our house cleaner than they found it! We are very excited to work with Artifex on all future house projects and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I worked alongside Ed (from Artifex Build) on a collaborative project, myself the interior designer and Artifex who were the contractors for the build. Artifex were excellent! Ed had great communication throughout, he is attentive to detail, professional and the finished standard of the renovation was impeccable! The team he brought with him were also super. We have done a number of project over the course of 5 years with Artifex on residential and commercial projects. They have been great to work with in all roles of the company, Ed has been enthusiastic and passionate about all of our projects throughout despite the differing work, the Artifex team are professional on site and work tidy and efficiently and any sub contracts have been easy to work with. The key strength of Artifex is the quality of the work and attention to detail which has been a consistent over the last 5 years. The work is always completed within a sensible timeframe and within budget. As a surveyor / developer they have made it very easy for me to work with them and I would highly recommend to anyone.
