A stylish couple owned a stylish home with the least stylish kitchen ever. Builder grade basic white cabinets with antiquated countertops and an overly tight layout needed to go – fast. But an odd room shape had to be addressed.

Design stayed within the existing footprint but created an open, functional and airy space. A large island with fantastic storage and adequate seating anchors the room. While a beautiful hexagon tile from countertop to ceiling adds texture and detail without overwhelming.

The light palette is balanced with rich walnut base cabinets, glowing gold hardware and black plumbing fixtures.
