A decade after their original off-grid Mh cottage was completed, this client required more space. An addition, housing a library, games room, sauna and outdoor living area connects to the main building via a 12′ glass bridge.

The sloping site necessitated a two storey structure, with the bridge projecting from what was originally a window. It connects to the upper-level library and outdoor deck space. Below, the games room links to the sauna via a covered breezeway that doubles as a sitting area with propane fire orb.
