Brad helped us after we bought an 1887 Victorian that had been remodeled in the mid-1900s with windows that were inappropriate in size, style, and location. The affected rooms looked and felt wrong. Brad was extremely knowledgeable about historic homes and how to restore our home. He specified appropriately-sized and styled windows in new locations in the affected rooms. He specified beautiful interior and exterior trims and finishes, including custom millwork to match the existing window trim in the house. Now the rooms are beautiful and you would never know that they had once been butchered. Brad also designed a new kitchen and 3rd floor bathroom for us. He modeled our house in 3D design software so we could visualize how the new spaces would look. He listened to our hopes and dreams, and asked really good questions. He provided multiple design options, both historic and contemporary, based on our input, and then refined them through several meetings with us. He was great to work with because he was clearly an expert, but he always listened carefully to our ideas and explained what would work well in our home and why. I've had friends who were frustrated during the design process when they remodeled their homes, but Brad had this great combination of being extremely smart and talented, but also very down to earth and caring. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again or recommend him to a friend.

We used Nederhoff Architecture to design a major renovation in our church and are delighted with the results! They listened well to a variety of congregation members, took into account our financial constraints, and creatively envisioned space that is beautiful, practical, and flexible to accommodate the needs of multiple groups.
