Anne did a great job with the renovation of our condominium unit. She was very professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the construction and design and diligently oversaw that the project went smoothly through completion.

We just finished a kitchen, powder room and laundry room renovation with Anne and are extremely happy with the results. She has excellent partners and resources, offered tons of creative ideas, is a great problem solver and is easy to work with. We also worked with Anne on a hall bathroom renovation about a year ago with great results. We would highly recommend hiring her.

My only thought is I wish I would have found her earlier! I brought Ann in on our almost tear down and rebuild. She worked as my guide through selecting countertops, tiles, grouts, staircase, lighting ....... and what seemed like a million other things. Her contacts/recommendations were great. She provided me me with so much valuable information during the process! We have been in our new home for about 3 years and everyone that comes wants to know how we selected everything ...... as it just looks great!

Anne Hanley has just finished our complete (and beautiful!) kitchen renovation- providing her services as designer, project manager, and consultant on all aspects, large and small, of the job. She committed herself to creating the kitchen we wanted, supporting our ideas and making them happen. We've done work before on our homes (kitchens and baths) with Anne, and we've relied on her close attention to every detail, consummate professionalism, and intimate knowledge of every aspect of construction from start to finish. Anne is bright, and insightful. She is careful and insists on detailed planning. She has ideas both creative and well thought out. I am an architect and Anne was working on my own home. That means I have very high standards and less money to spend on this project than some of my own clients would. My wife and I are very pleased with the results. We will use her again.

We recently finished our first project with Anne Hickok Hanley (AHH) of Design Construction Consulting (DCC), a person of high integrity and the sought after complement of design and implementation experience, to complete our extensive Master Bath and Closet Renovation. We worked with DCC to implement a plan that we had created with a local architect. From the outset, AHH said what she would do and then did what she said. There were no bad surprises…only pleasant ones. She mobilized all the necessary subcontractors and provided situational leadership to all aspects of our project’s success. That is, those who needed no oversight to execute the plan worked independently; others who required a bit more direction, were provided that additional guidance by AHH. AHH provided regular updates to us via email or text messages. Where we had design choices within the architect’s plan, she not only helped us to visualize our options, but she also gave us a clear understanding a priori of the pricing for them. Anne Hickok Hanley, the owner of Design Construction Consulting, has been a critical player in our renovation /restoration project. Our house is old and has had issues with asbestos, plumbing, windows, in-ground oil tanks, HVAC, you name it. We are still in the middle of our journey, but having Anne on our team, especially when dealing with the plethora of contractors and other vendors has been a lifesaver. Not only does Anne manage and negotiate the bidding process, but, if necessary, she will be on site to see that the vendors deliver and stay true to the quote and the scope. In addition to her savviness in contract negotiations, and keeping the vendors honest, she has an excellent eye and will help and guide you in structural design, especially kitchens and bathrooms. Our master bathroom is the oasis I have always wanted. Thank you Anne! Anne is respectful of the client’s budget and aesthetic, but also pragmatic. If there is a reasonable solution for the problem, Anne will find it for you, and if you are going out too far on a limb, she gently reminds you of your original intention.
