Thanks to Lon, Jen and the entire crew of professionals at Haleiwa Surfboards for assisting in the custom order of a hollow 12 foot gun. Lon was extremely approachable and worked with me through the entire design and construction process to ensure we ended up with the best possible end result. Much of the process was done remotely via email and phone calls and when complete the board was securely packed and shipped to Australia. The packing was superb and it arrived without a scratch. We were fortunate enough to have them help us make our counter tops in our coffee shop, they came out beautifully. The crew is friendly and they have a cool workshop on the North Shore. I would highly recommend this service if you are in search of a set of truly skilled work workers.

If I could give Haleiwa Surfboard Company six stars, I would! Lon Klein is professional, warm and incredibly talented. He made a custom front door with panels, and gorgeous stacking, sliding doors which open our living room to our outdoor lanai. Lon is a craftsman, and the quality of his work is stunning. The doors work beautifully, and we always get compliments on them. Not only is his product good, but it is very easy and enjoyable to work with him - and he stands behind his work. We had a couple of minor issues after installation (done by someone else), but he was there to help us out immediately. Highly recommended!

Lon Klein is a truly gifted artist. The masterpieces which he creates in wood are as beautiful as, and reminiscent of, the finest stained glass artwork. Jennifer Brooks is a great manager, very knowledgeable and helpful. She also happens to be a really nice person.

Our experience was up close and personal with Haleiwa in spring 2016. My wife was quite pleased with the process and follow up; both of us continue to appreciate the beautiful wood door with custom glass etching. The cost was reasonable and my contractor, who builds high end custom homes, had positive things to say about his experience with Haleiwa Surfboard Company. All around good vibes, reasonable cost and beautiful custom wood door!
