I recently moved from another state after 20 years of living in a beautifully designed four-story colonial townhouse. My new home and area is more casual than my former, and Peggy has helped me select furniture, fabrics and lighting that continue to reflect my style yet retain the informally I desired. All this while blending the new pieces with much of my older furniture I brought with me! Peggy listened to what I liked and wanted as she offered various styles and patterns to help me pull the home together. Unfortunately, during these trying times of Covid, I am still waiting for some pieces and lighting that were ordered earlier this year. She is excellent in communicating with me and forming me of the status, and in some cases, the delay status, of deliveries. She always keeps me updated and responds very timely to all my emails and phone calls. In fact, on two occasions, the incorrect furniture was delivered. She worked with the companies to ensure they corrected the orders and kept me in the loop the entire time. Throughout this process Peggy has represented me effectively and was always available if I had a question or concern. She is proactive in her dealings with both me and the companies to ensure the entire process remained smooth. Peggy is a proven designer that will work hard for you and ensure your interests are met. My wife and I retired to a brand new home in Saint Augustine. We had never used an interior decorator before. We interviewed several and chose Peggy and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Peggy is experienced, professional, very knowledgeable about furniture and fabrics and was a pleasure to deal with. Peggy heard our likes and dislikes and gave us choices that were right on the mark. We were furnishing a family room and an outdoor lanai. Over the last 50 years we had bought furniture and dealt with in store “designers“ many times. None of them ever explained the options we had in terms of depth of seating, width of arms and height of the back of the sectional we were purchasing as Peggy did. Her knowledge of fabrics and her flare for mixing different accents was exceptional. Peggy was able to put together our sectional and chairs with fabrics that stand out and added accessories like end tables, pillows and a cocktail table that match so well. We could never have come up with a design similar to what we ended up with on our own. We love the result and are constantly getting complemented on it. Peggy’s fees are reasonable, she is accessible, personable and made our decision to utilize her services one of the best decisions we have made in Furnishing our home.

Peggy designed a floor plan for our lake cottage screened porch. She provided a colour scheme and variety furniture options based on our ideas and our budget. We love the new porch and we are thrilled with the expertise, professionalism and attention to detail that Peggy put into this project!

Taking on a custom home can be daunting and I knew I wanted help. . We were referred to Peggy Snider and she was a great fit for our project. We had some pieces of furniture we were moving with, and she fit them in beautifully. Her taste is impeccable and she was spot on with the look I was trying to achieve. Peggy Snider was my designer, and we were very pleased with her work. Peggy did a number of small projects for us - selected fabric for 2 sofas to be recovered, selected carpet samples for us to choose from for a bedroom and family room, worked with her excellent sewing resource to create decorative curtains for our kitchen and a very creative valance that tied our kitchen and living room together perfectly. Peggy even sourced a local drapery installer as we live outside of Columbus. Peggy also had a custom cabinet built based on her original design, and had it shipped to our home - it was exactly what we wanted and could not find commercially in our price range. Last, Peggy helped us with the layout of our master bath gut rehab, and helped us choose materials that complimented the design that we had in mind. Peggy is thorough, creative, and works hard to understand your style before selecting a design for your home. I would work with Peggy again without hesitation.

Relationship: Client Project Date: March 2012 Project Price Range: more than $100,000 Peggy Snider came in well into a huge renovation project, essentially a gut job of a 1950's ranch. The original designer whom we had engaged had family illness issues that made continuing with her not possible. Peggy was a godsend. She is organized, highly competent, very professional, and transparent and ethical. We would recommend her without reservation.
