Charisse is amazing. Since I met her when she came and did a consultation, her presence, professionalism and down to earth personality was very captivating. In addition, she is flexible in being able to provide you with exactly what you are looking for from minimal assistance to full service hands on interior decorating. She helped me find furniture and other items for many spaces in my home and everything always worked out so perfectly. She was always willing to give me advice on things I found myself as well. She also helped guide me on the best placements for the items. It took me a while to realize I was in need of an interior designer. I was so excited to work with Charisse because I thought I could do it all by myself! Ha! I found out how much I didn't know about decorating until she came along. Her attention to detail, planning and execution is wonderful and she is a true professional. She was able to bring my vision to life! Her selection of paint colors, furniture, and overall guidance of how to bring a room together is phenomenal! She is just what the "house" ordered.

We moved into our house two years ago and tried to decorate on our own. My husband and I didn’t agree on much and had already wasted money on items that did not work well together. Charisse came into our space, met with both me and my husband and started working with the items we had previously purchased. She gave us original ideas as well as used her expertise to advise us on the ideas we already had. She talked through both of our design styles and blended them together to create a workable plan. I'm so delighted to write this review. TRANSFORMATIONS is a company that serves it's clients in a spirit of EXCELLENCE! My designer is a woman of Faith and it reflects in her spirit and work. I find her to be very professional, well organized and very knowledgeable. I had such a great experience. My project was small but the total sum of her service was far greater!. My job was not on a true deadline but even so, my designer made sure things were progressing via phone calls, and house calls. I enjoyed exchanging ideas, while working within my budget. I can't express enough how much I enjoyed working with my designer to refresh my space but most of all...I LOVE the "transformation" taking place in my home.

Due to a tight budget, I went the home coaching package with professional installation route. Charisse has the gift! I sent her pictures of furniture, window dressings, accessories and even paint samples. She nailed it every time! I'm so left brained I didn't know where to start. Charisse shared so many ideas on furniture pieces, color combinations and design choices that never would have crossed my mind. The furniture, color schemes and items she recommended are perfect. Outside of her gift of design, she's a jewel. I was downsizing as a result of a recent divorce. Many times I was an emotional wretch. Charisse is always so patient and kind. She constantly encourages me that everything will work out. My new home is warm and inviting. She shared lots of space saving options in my children's rooms that minimized any negative feelings of having a smaller space. Her recommendations for websites lead me to items that make our home unique. Everyone that comes through the door asks, "where did you get...". In short, I would use her again and again. Transformations LLC lived up to its name and totally transformed my master bedroom. My room is warm and inviting, yet "sophisticated". I really appreciate the way in which Charisse worked with me at my pace to bring my vision of a restful haven into reality. The choice of colors, placement of furniture and accent pieces makes the difference. When my husband stood back and viewed the finished project, he even said, "Charisse worked her magic in here." I recently purchased a new home and was desperate for some design inspiration. A previous client of Transformations referred me to Charisse. I immediately scheduled a initial consultation. When Charisse arrived at me home she was beyond patient walking through every room of my home discussing and assisting with our design plans & color schemes. She provided an immense amount of ideas that I can hardly wait to implement! She is A++++ in my book!!

I met Charisse through a consulting appointment with her sister for my closet installation. During the discussion, Charisse offered so many wonderful decorating ideas that my closet installation led to a closet renovation with beautiful lighting and electrifying color. As a result, I contracted with her to coordinate the services. The extent of our collaboration was limited; however, the exceptional insight she provided which took my closet installation to a beautifully organized sanctuary certainly warrants a commendation for anyone looking for a professional visionary in the world of design and color. I certainly recommend Charisse. Note: I rated Charissed 4 instead of 5 starts (only) because our agreement was limited in regards to services provided, but her interior insight was phenomenal.

I've been decorating on my own for the past couple of years and felt like I was at a stand still. I hired Ms. Holder to receive design consultation on decorating ideas! Ms. Holder came to my home and we went through each room where I had design questions etc. After the consultation I was so thrilled on the ideas she presented and now I know the direction I need to go!

First all of professionalism is at the top of my list of things I look for when doing business with individuals. Charisse was punctual, creative, organized, unrushed and patient. As an Interior Decorator, I think it is critical for Decorators to not force their opinions, but inspire customers to see the light from their point of view. That is exactly what Charisse did. Before she arrived, I was stumped on what colors to paint my second level in my home. I couldn't figure out how to organize the rooms and bottom line for the past five years -- I haven't done a thing. Charisse was very professional and knowledgeable. Ms. Holder is a "Phenomenal Decorator" with a superb knowledge base and experience. Transformations always exceeded my decorating expectations. I was recovering from breast cancer at my sister's home. Charisse transformed a dull conference room into a wonderful display of color for my company's fifth Anniversary. When I met with her, all I knew was that I wanted to incorporate my company's colors and weave in the theme of "wood" - which is for a fifth anniversary. She took my abstract idea and created what my words could never describe. All of the guests commented that they felt like they were transported to a caribbean beach - all that was missing was the sound of waves. She met my very tight budget and guided every step of purchase, assembly and set up! I cannot wait until we work together on my house!

Ms. Holder was extremely professional and creative and provided a variety of ideas for everything from room layout, to window coverings and wall colors all just in the first meeting. From seeing my room pre-Charisse to now i can truly say that i AND my bedroom have been TRANSFORMED... im so impressed with the level of detail and expertise...wow im amazed!

I worked with Charisse to stage my home. At first we were going to do just one level, but she worked with me on the entire house. We worked together to paint designated rooms, and where possible, used my own furniture. She supplied pieces which complemented the new (neutral) color scheme. She also re-arranged the layout of the furniture in such a way that some of the rooms were more functional staged, than when I lived there. I knew she had done a spectacular job when my sister, who used to live with me, commented, "Is this where I used to live?" I hope to work with Charisse again to decorate my current home.

Charisse came to our house this evening for a two hour consultation. She was very professional and respectful. She gave us so many ideas for furniture layout, color schemes, measurements for rugs and so much more. She wasn't pushy or trying to oversell anything. We hired Transformations and what can I say. Charisse went above and beyond. She implemented her recommendations on the formal family room, living room, kitchen and dining room. She was extremely professional. She's very flexible with any budget. She can order items or she will recommend items and you order them. She's very helpful with keeping you within your budget. I would definitely hire her again. The end product was beyond what we expected. We've never used an interior decorator so we didn't know what to expect, but I will say my house looks like it's out of a magazine! Can't believe it's the same house. My whole family is happy with the outcome. She was able to incorporate existing artwork and furniture which saved us some money. Can't say enough about her. We will hire her again once we get our basement finished. What a wonderful lady that holds the upmost integrity with her business.

I consider myself decor-challenged and desperately needed help. I know what I like, but do not know how to put my "like-able" pieces together to create the timeless and classy environment I want to create for all the rooms in my home. TRANSFORMATIONS gave me EXCELLENT! and affordable decorating tips and advice to use with pieces I currently own as well as cost-saving ideas on purchases I can make at area retailers. I was so excited after my consultation that I immediately went shopping to start my decorating project for my living/dining room. Transformations, LLC did a great job! We contracted the design of two (2) levels of our home. The Living Room, Dining Room, Hallway and Kitchen Bath also the the Basement and Basement Bath.The care and concern to detail converted our home into a esthetic and functional environment. I hired Ms. Holder for a two-hour consult. The price was very affordable and she accomplished quite a bit in short period of time. She helped me select a color palette for my rooms, provided sketches to re-arrange the current furniture and made recommendations for new pieces and accessories. I was very pleased. Since I am just getting started, I would like to use her again to help me transform my entire home. She provides a number of pricing options and services that should appeal to any budget. She has great ideas and she is very resourceful with a great eye.

We hired Transformations LLC to "makeover" our main living level - which encompasses - the foyer, living, dining, family, powder and laundry rooms as well as the kitchen/breakfast area and library. The work included selection of furniture and other accessories (without a cluttered look), paint selection, shadow boxes for pictures and drapes in formal dining and living rooms that coincided with our design theme of "Elegant, Modern, Tuscan." Our house is new and we have lived it in a little over two years before we hired Transformations, LLC. Shortly after we moved in, our plans to decorate were sidetracked and put on hold due to a family situation. So we purchased a few pieces here and there for comfort and used items we had in our prior house, however, nothing was coordinated (i.e., matched) and did not to provide the look we desired for our new home. We were immensely blessed and ever grateful for the referral to Transformations, LLC. Charisse Holder was delightful to work with and the she transformed our house into a home for everyday living! Charisse had very little items to work with - so all of the items for the family room, living room, dining room, foyer and library were pretty much the result of her efforts. The house while beautiful, was very dull (with a capital D). The wall had builder grade paint, there was no artwork on the walls, we only had blinds to window and a few accessories in the kitchen to provide some color, thus the house looked quite stark. Needleless to say, we needed a lot of help. Charisse suggested architectural elements for the foyer, added an accent to the fireplace wall, defining the space in the family room into two areas - making a reflection areas for some historical artwork I had recently purchased. She worked with our contractors for the backsplash and well as for the painting to be done to ensure everything coordinated with our concept. We had some things in place to help make the design effort easier (good bones), but without technical knowledge we were lost. So from the architectural elements, paint selection, backsplash, lighting additions and changes, furniture selection, and the majority of the accents, were due to her efforts. She also encouraged us to repurpose as much as we could - including a family heirloom for our dining room that was perfect when refinished for our Tuscan themed design. While Charisse is a certified interior decorator (i.e., a professional), she is very much a collaborator that enabled us to feel very comfortable to know that she would not force her will upon us or do anything that we did not want for our home. She truly listens to her clients wishes and incorporates those items into the overall design concept. There is no aspect of our WOW Transformation that I would change, my home is very comfortable, elegant and livable at the same time. That is say, we can function in our home without doing anything special, which was very important. From the small subtle tweaks made in the laundry room, which was a tremendous improvement – to the other rooms on our main living level which have that “WOW” effect! From the foyer, living room, powder, library, family room, dining room and kitchen – all elements and modifications made have been simply incredible and impressive! We certainly did not know how a rug could change the dynamics of a room to tie all the components together... love the look added to our living and family rooms. Each room has a standout or signature piece that immediately catches your attention when you look or enter that room - that let's you know you have a one-of-a-kind space that is unique and definitely not cookie cutter. The bottom line, we were extremely pleased (that we had selected Charisse for the job), excited (with the outcome), and speechless (that this was our home). The “value added” services provided by Charisse was everything we wanted and more than we could have ever achieved on our own. At the end of our experience, the Smart Shopping performed by Charisse allowed us to achieve a significant savings and enabled us to get a high end style at an excellent price. Without any reservation, we offer our strongest recommendation for the experience offered by Charisse Holder and thank her for the for the savings, service, and partnership – it is a job well done! My master bedroom & dinning room was totally transformed and remodeled! My bedroom was painted and redesigned with new curtains for both windows, and curtains were assembled to separate my master bathroom from my bedroom. My bed was given a much needed transformation with a head board, beautiful bed comforter and pillows, new dresser, mirror, night stand, runner (rug), lamps, wall paintings, and decorative items, i.e. flowers for a small table and a beautiful vase with flowers and candles for the dresser. My dinning room was revamped with new curtains, a beautiful mirror and table, large vase, and the re-arrangement of wall paintings.

Charisse at Transformations is excellent. She worked with me to transform both my home and my office and I could not be happier. She has an excellent eye for color and texture and for making small changes that make a big difference.

I'm upset with Charisse! She did such a great job at my home that my daughters got her to help them and now their homes look better than mine (LOL)! My whole family was pleased with the services provided by this firm. She accepted the challenge of transforming my Morning Room based on my ramblng request for a Florida Room with an Afro-Asian theme. Well, she did it! I have a beautiful, sunny room with mint green walls, wicker baskets, candles, animal print pillows and statues, and linen toppers with bamboo rings on bamboo rods. I love it! But, most of all, I appreciate the positive attitude that Charisse displayed while working with a wife that made selections first and then asked the price and a husband that asked price first, second, third time and then selected. Charisse is a fantastic decorator!!! She was able to transform my newly bought foreclosed home into a plush surrounding where my guests love to stay. She facilitated choosing colors I had in mind for the house. I moved in with little furniture as I threw away lots of stuff from my old house. She asked me to send pictures of styles I liked. She also showed me pictures to get an idea of what I liked. She sent me styles of furniture that I either loved, disliked, or was open to. I found myself open to many of her ideas because I forced myself to get out of my comfort zone and trust her selections. I am very happy with the outcome. She bought accessories/paintings I love that I would have never gotten on my own. She is flexible with my deadline as it has been extended due to my job loss.
