We are a wholesale manufacturer of interior fashions selling to customers throughout the United States who are interior designers, decorators, and retail stores. Our Territory Sales Managers live and travel in their respective geographic area, thereby being able to better serve our customers.
Lafayette Interior Fashions offers materials and fabrics that resist moisture, control light, glare and help manage energy use. Maintaining a safe and sustainable environment is a primary consideration for all of us. Many fabrics are certified for their energy efficiency, air quality safety and use of recycled materials. We strive to include the best “green” advancements into the all Lafayette programs as they become available.

Inferior quality product. Do not buy if you have any intention of actually having functional window treatments. Purchased bamboo shades with & without motors. Installed in April 2022. Shade has conservatively been raised & lowered no more than 6 times. Cord already broken & each time another piece of the shade breaks off. The delicacy of the shade & diameter of bamboo equivalent to a toothpick. Local dealer wants 50% of original retail purchase price to return & warranty this product. Shade in bedroom "sheds" pieces of wood each time you open & close. Expensive product not worth the prices. Quality & function not there. Phoned Lafayette directly told I could not return to them had to use the local rep. At initial install indicated to local dealer dissatisfaction with quality for price. Was told "life-time warranty" was not told would be billed for service call & delivery to MFG. Buyer beware with this company & product.

I tried contacting this manufacturer to resolve an issue for a customer and they will not help unless the customer goes to a lafayette dealer. The customer had a horrible experience and is not interested in that but would like their expensive shade repaired. This is how Lafayette treats their customers, what a shame. I will resolve this problem without their help. I would not recommend any company that does not support their product.

I have been in retail since 1976. I have been self-employed since 1981. I have dealt with a lot of companies for a variety of reasons, and have found that Lafayette is miles above every single one of them.. including Hunter Douglas.. the only thing Hunter Douglas does better than Lafayette is spend money on advertising. after 41 years in business I am down to dealing with just ONE company. for everything. and that is Lafayette. I have never even had a bad sales rep in all these years. yes, something may go wrong once in a while, but, give Lafayette a chance.. they WILL fix it.

I purchased the Lafayette Allure blinds with motorization for our new home three years ago. I should have known from all the problems we had from day 1 to run away. It took several tries and as many months to get them in a fabric that wasn’t damaged and all wavy or with bent up fabric on the edges.
There was one large blind we sent back in our master because the end cap on the bottom rail wasn’t staying on. I received it back with the same problem, but let it go because I was so sick of dealing with it and I thought it was just cosmetic. Not to mention we really needed a blind in our master. Big mistake as it eventually fell off and when we lifted it, the fabric got caught and the blind was destroyed. My dealer said I was on my own so I bought a replacement from a competitor as I wasn’t giving them one more dime. Bye-bye $1300…
THEN, our other large blind starting making a horrible noise. I was afraid this one would self destruct too, so I called Lafayette and was told they would not speak to me and that I had to go to my dealer. I explained that my dealer would not help me and they didn’t care. So, I finally found a repair place that sent it in for me to be fixed, but it’s been SIX WEEKS and I still don’t have it back yet. It’s bad enough that we spend thousands of dollars on blinds that aren’t even lasting a few years. I am already out over $1000 for the first one and I’m worried that the rest of them will follow suit and I will be dealing with this until I just get rid of them and take a $10,000 loss. So, do yourself a favor and buy from anyone else. This has been a disaster from day one and is not acceptable.

I have had an account with Lafayette Interior Fashions for more than 25 years. From my dealer perspective, I have only praise to give. Product offerings, customer service, account reps, delivery... have never let me down. This is a family-owned company that combines professionalism with personal touch. Five stars, Lafayette, for all you do for both the customer and the dealer.

We installed 5 panels of Allure shades in our bedroom. While the shades look beautiful, the mechanism for lifting and lowering them is so elementary that I cannot believe it is being used. The cord for moving them up and down has little pearly balls attached to it and it makes a very annoying noise each and every time we use it. Originally when it was installed, a different mechanism was used and that had its own issues (We had to pull the cord 11 times, each time we wanted to lift the shade!!). We had it changed. We are not happy with this one either but we don't want to go through the hassle of changing it.
We have other shades by other manufacturers in our home and it's much easier and quieter to work with them. I wish Lafayette would correct this issue with their product.

Excellent quality
Drapes and valances are always beautiful.
Blinds, shutters and shades same quality as Hunter Douglas for alot less
Turn around time is excellent
Knowledgeable customer service
They have there own delivery trucks direct to your office

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service, delivery time and quality. I built a 5000 square foot modern home and ordered all of my roller shades from this company because they provide the modern window treatments. I ordered in March and was told by the dealer it would take 2 to 3 weeks for the shades to come in. Nothing came in that quick. The window treatments that were sent was missing a part. The majority of the fabric that we picked out was on back order and took at least 2 months to come in. That was for 9 windows and doors. When it came in they shorted us one roller shade for a door. Our dealer called and they said no they shipped it and we were lying that we did not receive it. Finally after a lot of stress they admitted they ran out of fabric again although that order was placed 2 months ago, was already on back-order once and they knew exactly how much fabric they needed to complete the windows and should have made sure they ordered enough fabric for all 9 shades not just 8. So again we waited for the roller shade however the header that covers the top of the shade was sent with the first batch of shades. Finally after another month or so we got the window treatment in and the cord was on the wrong side. There was no disputing that they made a mistake because they made the header that was sent months prior and it was correct however, they refused to admit that the roller shade was wrong. Every treatment had to indicate which side to put the word on, location in home and whether it was for a door or window. We had to return the header to our dealer and they remade the blind and they sent an entire new header and it did not match the size of the roller shade. So we could not put anything up. Yet again we had to return the entire window treatment to our dealer. Lafayette interiors argued and it took several days for them to admit they made another mistake. By this time we were beyond mad and wanted to return everything. Basically take everything down. Our designer said we would not be charged for the last treatment and she would install it at her expense. Finally the correct roller shade comes in however the company sent the wrong attachment to the door. Doors take a special bracket which they did not send. Finally between us and the designer we were able to use a screw we had and a part. Basically door was not completed until July 18th and it was ordered around March 14th. It took over 4 months for that door to be covered. All of that said the treatments look great, however they are a little difficult to pull up manually. I love the look but the customer service was egregious.
