Anna Butler Designs

Working with Anna on the interior design for our home renovation project was delightful. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into both the aesthetics and functionality of the end design. She listens intently to inspiration and feedback and seamlessly integrates my ideas/preferences with her own knowledge/expertise. The end result is completely my vision, but significantly better than if I had attempted the design on my own. Also the contractors appreciate the level of detail in Anna's design plans. I'll definitely work with Anna again on future design projects.

Anna is an architect who was referred to us to design our major remodel. She was a joy to work with. Anna not only drew up the architectural plans, she also chose all of the finishes for 5 rooms that were taken down to the bones. The construction team was impressed with her and communicated how much they appreciated having her on the project. Anna caught any misunderstanding in time to make it right without missing a beat. She stayed on top of everything. She took care of our project and so took care of us! The outcome is gorgeous . She has such a sense for palette- and We got everything we were hoping for. We highly recommend Anna for any large or not so large building project. She will be our go to if ever we move and want to create something new! .

I cannot say enough great things about working with Anna. She is a true professional with impeccable taste and was a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly responsive and always welcomed our feedback and ideas. Anna has worked on several projects for me but most recently she helped me rehab three bathrooms in my house. All three bathrooms were crumbling and unusable. One was incredibly small and it was impossible to imagine it ever looking nice. Anna came up with amazing solutions for all 3 bathrooms and they are now my favorite rooms in the house. From the tile to the light fixtures to the overall design--she absolutely nailed it. My husband and I always joke that our primary bathroom is a "spa bathroom" because of how gorgeous and perfect it is. Anna instantly understood our style and was able to pick out perfect design choices for us. And our house was not an easy one to work with. Our house is built on a hill and has funky sized rooms and ceilings sloping in odd places. Despite all the challenges, Anna did a perfect job with everything. I will use Anna again and again in the future!

Anna was able to quickly understand essentially what we wanted, incorporated our feedback, and produced a design for our kitchen we loved! She was very helpful and made recommendations for all our appliances and counter stools as well. Our cabinet maker was able to produce the cabinets perfectly from her specifications. If I had to do another kitchen, I would hire Anna in a second.

We hired Anna to help with the design of our kitchen and bathrooms remodel. Anna’s vision for our project provided to be invaluable. We especially loved Anna’s ability to capture our project on her 3D software so that we could understand how the finished project rooms would look ahead of the remodel. I look forward to working with Anna again on future projects.

When we moved into our new house, we were overwhelmed and worried that we wouldn’t be able to manifest the style we wanted it to have. We had no idea where to begin or what to do. Hiring Anna was the best thing we could have done as she helped us turn our dream into reality. I'm writing this from the breakfast nook of my beautifully remodeled kitchen. Having never undertaken a home renovation, I didn't know where to start. Anna made the process, dare I say, easy. Her background in architecture, combined with a talent for selecting finishes and products make her supremely qualified to design a space you will love. She asked questions, listened to my goals, and created a lovely and thoughtful plan. Anna's detailed renderings helped me visualize everything from a new layout to the lighting, textures and colors. I highly recommend her for your next project!

My experience working with Anna was fantastic. My projects were extensive and I was grateful for her input, insights, suggestions and feedback throughout the entire process. I feel that one of the most valuable aspects was her ability to show me drawings with the items I picked (cabinets, tiles, appliances, etc) and put them all together before actually ordering and installing them. I saved so much time and money and regret doing it this way! She listened to me and respected my style and I am happy in my house every day! We continue to work together on finishing touches like furniture and rugs and art and I appreciate her professionalism very much. Only 2 rooms left on a total house remodel!

Anna did an excellent job being creative with our small space. We had such a hard time visualizing how to make a new, modern kitchen work in our older, smaller home, and her design really responded to our needs. She's great to work with and is flexible and responsive! All of her designs are beautiful, but we really feel like she worked with us to give us something unique to our tastes. Would definitely recommend!

Anna created a complete remodel of my condo overlooking the lakefront in downtown Chicago. Her design concept echoed completely my desired for a clean, fresh palette. The main attraction to Anna was how carefully she listened to my particular needs and aesthetic goals and how she implemented them through a plan that seemed as if I’d created it myself! She brought in bright new design ideas, all the while adhering to concepts that are sure to last and will guarantee that my condo retains excellent property value for years to come.
