Shout! Factory Acquires Apocalyptic Comedy, ‘Cockneys vs Zombies’
“Cockneys vs Zombies,” the UK comedy from director Matthias Hoene, has been acquired by Shout! Factory and will receive a simultaneous theatrical and VOD release August 2.
“Cockneys vs Zombies” follows a gang of bank robbers who fight their way out of a zombie-infested London. The film stars Harry Treadaway, Georgia King, Honor Blackman, Alan Ford, Michelle Ryan, Rasmus Hardiker, Jack Doolan, Dudley Sutton and Richard Briers.
The film will be released theatrically by Shout Factory in conjunction with The Film Collective, Dada Films and Brainstorm. It will have its VOD rollout through Shout Factory.
