Newsmax host returns to Twitter - then gets permanently banned hours later for ‘satanic’ anti-vax claims

Newsmax host and White House correspondent Emerald Robinson has been permanently banned from Twitter for making ‘satanic’ claims about the Covid-19 vaccine.

Robinson was temporarily banned last week for violating the platforms rules against tweeting misinformation about COVID-19. In a series of tweets, Robinson claimed that the COVID-19 vaccine contained a “bioluminescent tracking device” that was somehow linked to “Lucifer.”

The White House correspondent responded to a tweet about the Moderna vaccine, claiming that it “DOES contain Luciferase.” The user included a screenshot of the Wikipedia entry for luciferase, which explains that the “the name is derived from the Latin word lucifer, meaning ‘lightbearer’ and that it produces bioluminescence.

“Dear Christians: the vaccines contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked,” the tweet read. “Read the last book of the New Testament to see how this ends.”

While Luciferase was used in early Covid-19 research, it is not an ingredient in any of the vaccines.

Twitter removed the tweet and added a note stating that the tweet violated Covid-19 misinformation rules.

Following Robinson’s tweet, Newsmax released a statement saying that the network does not agree with Robinson’s claims.

“Newsmax strongly believes and has reported that the Covid 19 vaccines are safe and effective. We do not believe the vaccines contain any toxic materials or tracking markers, and such false claims have never been reported on Newsmax,” they said. “The many medical experts appearing on Newsmax have supported the use of the vaccine.”

Upon returning to Twitter, Robinson linked a post to her Substack entitled: “What is Luciferase? How a firefly enzyme that glows might herald the end of the world.”

“One more thing: the new COVID-19 antibody test is called SATiN and it uses Luciferase. No, I’m not kidding,” she wrote in the post. “It’s not an accident that they’ve given this name to this test. It’s a warning.”

“Join me at Substack before I’m banned again!” she tweeted.

Twitter then permanently shut down Robinson’s account for repeated violations of COVID-19 misinformation. Newsmax has not yet determined if she will return as host.
