Having worked as a GP in North Warwickshire for 30 years until 2017 I witnessed the development of this wonderful service which offers care and support to patients and their carers through day care and support in their own homes. The new drive is to provide a rapid response overnight service to people in their own homes which puts further demands on the already limited resources and has stimulated a group of us to take on this challenge to help fund this vital care for people at the end of life.
