I will be celebrating my 70th year, so this might be my final Himalayan Trek !!  I will be raising funds to support Mary Ann Hospice which provides vital palliative and end of life services to North Warwickshire and beyond. Mary Ann needs your help to continue to support the many thousands of patients and their carers needing their care through some of life’s most difficult challenges. The Rapid Response Service, a new and innovative service which currently provides care within one hour to fully support patients and their carers over night in their own homes in their last 72 hours is expanding to cover both night and day.We can only continue to expand this vital service with additional funding. National charities such as Macmillan will only support funding of services or staff for very limited periods, supporting this local hospice ensures all funds will be used to deliver these vitals services. All funds raised from the Trek will go direct to clinical services as all Trekkers will be self funded, so please do dig deep and support Mary Ann, all money goes directly into patient services not administration and management costs !!  …………
