Although iPhones are at a very high level in terms of production quality, they are unfortunately not perfect. After all, he himself confirmed this a few hours ago Apple by extending the existing one service program, which applies to all the previous year's "twelves", specifically because of possible problems with the sound.

Apple in the fix program details, it specifically states that a certain percentage of iPhone 12 and 12 Pro manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021 are experiencing call sound issues that are caused by a faulty receiver. This manifests itself specifically in the complete loss of sound and thus the inability to hear the other party, which de facto interrupts the entire telephone call. Unfortunately, however, there is no user-friendly fix based, for example, on resetting software functions. Although he started the service program for free repairs Apple already last year, when the interannual one-year warranty of the iPhone 12 ended, which is also the only warranty in some countries, however, apparently due to the large number of the problem, it has now decided to extend it for another year. It was initially intended to be active for two years from the first retail sale of the unit. However, now the deadline for possible repairs has been extended to three years, which in other words means that a user who bought an iPhone 12 in October 2020 can theoretically claim it as early as August 2023. The repair will be provided by any authorized service, as is traditionally the case.
