One of the most striking elements of the new iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is undoubtedly the Dynamic Island in their display - that is, the element that Apple replaced the previous cutout. However, as it seems now, not even himself Apple he is not completely satisfied with its execution yet and therefore constantly improves it with the help of software applications in combination with the surrounding environment. After iOS 16.1 added a more prominent gray border to this element, in iOS 16.2 it will slightly reduce its dimensions, but under one condition.

Apple decided in iOS 16.2 to slightly modify the status bar, which is currently dominated by Dynamic Island. The modification will consist specifically in the fact that when music is actively played with the player minimized to the Dynamic Island, the island will be slightly narrowed in order to fit the icon showing the signal strength next to it on the right. This is currently removed, and next to the Dynamic Island, you can only see the WiFI strength or the mobile data indicator together with the battery indicator, which is quite unfortunate, because you can easily lose the signal because of this, because there is simply no way to easily monitor it.

While this is essentially a very minor upgrade, it's certainly welcome due to its usefulness. In one breath, however, it should be added that Dynamic Island definitely deserves more upgrades, and the same in pale blue can be said about the usability of this element as such. Developers already have the opportunity to connect it with applications and thereby de facto revive it, but unfortunately this is almost not happening yet. Hopefully, in this direction, we will see a change in the foreseeable future, which will make Dynamic Island exactly what it is about Apple he spoke at the launch of the iPhone 14 Pro (Max).
