The Mac Pro (late 2013 model) was launched in October 2013. In terms of design, it was completely different from previous models - it had the shape of a dark gray shiny aluminum cylinder. Due to its compact dimensions, however, it had significantly limited expandability compared to its predecessors. Otherwise, the wine received a 4-core Intel Xeon processor (E5-1620 v2) with a frequency of 3,7 GHz, a 6-core Intel Xeon (E5-1650 v2) with a clock speed of 3,5 GHz, an 8-core Intel Xeon (E5-1680 v2) with a frequency of 3 GHz or 12-core Intel Xeon (E5-2697 v2) clocked at 2,7 GHz, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD and dual graphics card AMD FirePro D300 (variant with 4-core processor), dual AMD FirePro D500 (variant with 6-core processor) and dual AMD FirePro D300/D500/D700 (variant with 8 and 12 core processor). In addition, it boasted an "innovative unified thermal core".
