The MacBook (early 2015 model with Retina display) was introduced in April 2015. It was the first MacBook to Apple presented after a five-year hiatus. Compared to previous models, it got a significantly thinner (and overall more compact) body and a significantly lower weight, and was the first Apple laptop to have a keyboard with a so-called butterfly mechanism, which made the individual keys thinner, which was supposed to ensure their greater stability (however, as it turned out, the mechanism was not 100% reliable). It was also the first Mac to use a USB-C port and the first MacBook with a Force Touch trackpad, supporting haptic feedback. In terms of hardware, it was equipped with an Intel Core M processor (M-5Y31/M-5Y51/M-5Y71) with a frequency of 1,1, 1,2 and 1,3 GHz, 8 GB of operating memory, SSD with a capacity of 256 and 512 GB, Intel Graphics 5300 graphics chip and iSight web camera.
