Large dreams take time... so good designs takes time. When you are in time reduced you can produce what the majority does... or not a very original piece. So, in this sense you need to be really clear to your client. Because a short time demands more people so the cost can increase. Having clear this you can start talking about the process and times. Having a contract to organize both ideas about what is included and what's not, how many changes are part of the process or extra time or other areas involved are very crucial. There you can set targets, objectives, public, and others... you cannot work also without a brief. Having a clear communication is crucial to avoid misunderstandings.
