Additionally, mentor them on navigating difficult conversations and maintaining professionalism, helping them build trust and long-term, productive relationships with stakeholders.

In my view emerging leaders and potential talents needs to be identified and management should allow them to work with lot of independence and responsibility, management should show lot of confidence and respect the inputs and voice of the individual and most important is to have a mentor or supportive manager to put the individual in front and support from behind. Make the individuals part of strategic leadership program where they can build more stronger relationships with the peers. These are some of my views to support the discussion.
