Every change thrives when there is an open environment, transparency around talking about the need for it, discussing how everyone’s inputs, feedback is critical to its adoption and holistic view point on the impact - 360 degree assessment on the readiness and underlying nimbleness of the operating model Trust and Comfort is built around the change when Leaders value the above mentioned drivers and are vocal with their teams on the pain and gain that will come with the change ! They should be respectful of the fear and ambiguity that may precede the phenomenon and their trust in the Team will be the defining catalyst .

Change is inevitable and does not require our input; it just happens. Embracing change means objectively approaching life as a constant journey toward mastery. Every day, we strive to be the best version of ourselves, viewing change as an opportunity for growth. After all, what doesn't grow is dead, and that's a disappointing way to live.

Our lives are continually changing and we manage. The work place is no different. As a leader it is important to communicate to staff in an adult to adult way to be open and honest about the drivers of change. Too often leaders can adopt a parental position. As a leader we need to own the big picture and future vision and consider if the change is moving us toward that. I've seen too many organisations allow change that is out of step with strategy but feels immediately beneficial e.g a new stand alone system wanted by doctors but, the strategy is to reduce the number of systems and integrate solutions. Bottom line be transparent, focus on impact and be rigorous in holding the strategic line.

It allows individuals to step out of their comfort zones, learn new things, and adapt to different situations. Change, whether small or significant, provides opportunities for self-improvement and a deeper sense of fulfillment. While all these factors are important, I often see leaders fail to clearly define the "why"—the problem we are trying to solve and what success looks like. It is essential to identify the end customer and be very clear about their expectations of a good outcome. Too often, the root cause of poor change initiatives is the failure to address this crucial step effectively.

Una buena evaluación de los impactos permite una mirada holística, teniendo como norte los objetivos que se buscan lograr con el rediseño de los procesos. Es importante definir los objetivos específicos que se derivan a cada área desde el objetivo principal y qué tipo de estrategia se debe adoptar para llevarlos a cabo, de modo que tanto los procesos como los puestos tengan coherencia y estén enfocados al cumplimiento de esos objetivos. Es importante garantizar que no caemos en duplicidad de funciones, conflicto de intereses, ni incumplimiento de alguna normativa si fuera el caso. Además podremos identificar los principales desafíos y las opciones más viables para abordarlos, procurando los tiempos requeridos.

Los equipos son el núcleo de la ejecución de procesos. Involucrarlos desde el principio en el cambio es crucial para obtener información valiosa y fomentar un sentido de propiedad. Escuchar sus comentarios e incluirlos en la toma de decisiones mejora la calidad del diseño del proceso, aumenta la moral y reduce la resistencia al cambio. Este enfoque colaborativo asegura que los miembros del equipo se sientan escuchados y valorados, lo que incrementa su apoyo y defensa de los nuevos procesos. En mi experiencia, en todo cambio o rediseño de procesos, es de suma importancia que todas las personas que se verán impactad@s sean involucrados desde el 1er momento, tanto los que lo realizan como los que reciben el "servicio o producto". Darles el espacio para que puedan expresar sus ideas, recomendaciones e inquietudes. Las inquietudes deben ser resueltas y de ser necesario desarrollar planes de acción para ayudarles en la transición. Quienes realizan el trabajo son los expertos y siempre tienen buenas aportaciones, estos espacios permiten reducir significativamente la resistencia y ayuda a que se sientan parte importante del nuevo proceso, porque dejan de sentirlo como una imposición y pasan a tomar un rol activo - positivo.

Como ejecutivo, transmitir de manera efectiva la visión, justificación y resultados esperados del nuevo diseño de procesos es crucial. Identificar embajadores que crean en el cambio y lo transmitan a sus compañeros. La transparencia es vital, informar cómo se impactará cada área y puesto dentro de la organización y los planes de acción para llegar al equilibrio. Las personas necesitan sentirse seguras, que se les trata con respeto y que son valorad@s.

También se suele dar un tiempo de acompañamiento, en el que los trabajadores sientan la libertad de hacer consultas durante la ejecución del proceso, cuando no tengan la seguridad de que acción ejecutar. Los trabajadores deben tener acceso a los procesos para que puedan consultarlos en todo momento. De manera complementaria las formaciones en el desarrollo de habilidades le permitirá a los trabajadores tener una actitud más positiva y abierta para afrontar los cambios, las cuales se deben elegir de acuerdo con el tipo de cambio, magnitud, y necesidades de estos.
