Continuous learning is a practiced behavior that stems from childhood learning and develops as we grow. Through various learning strategies, we tend to absorb information via our senses (visually, audibly, physically, and spatially). When information is engaging, memorable, challenging, fun, or valuable we find ourselves in a state of wanting more. It is in the opportunities of failure, rejection, or challenge that we grow the most and find the best solutions to the biggest problems.

I have had the privilege of working with some very fine executives and leaders. A common trait that ran through them was relentless focus on Continuous Learning. Frankly, with OpenAI, the future of work and the role (activities) that most of us perform today will look VERY different in 3 years. Technology will be smart enough to evaluate our skills and adjacencies between skills. So, What will keep us gainfully employed ? I believe that will be our Skills and willingness to learn new skills. Here are 3 suggestions : 1) Get certifications from accredited sources 2) Get involved in Gigs/Projects that give you a “hands-on” experience 3) Identify Mentors / Experts who can guide you Finally, one trait - Resilience - will be crucial !

Knowing exactly how many months or days you have to live can help you better manage costs and your funding strategy. • Why you are doing this: Success requires hard work and constant attention. If you don’t know exactly why you should make the effort, neither will your funders. • What are the top-two critical issues? Be precise about which two issues deserve the highest priority. These may not be the most urgent, but they are the ones that your venture’s success depends on.
