From my experience as a leadership coach, I find that employees are disengaged when they feel demotivated and there is generally a lack of communication with senior management. To boost team motivation and engagement, here's what you can do: 1. Ensure there is no miscommunication in the team. Clear the air. Let you team speak and listen actively. Allow them to vent their frustration and take action to improve the situation 2. Check their levels of motivation - are they not confident to do the task like making decisions? If so, what skills are they missing? what can be done about it? 3. Start small by allowing some degree of autonomy by allowing them to make their own decisions without you micromanaging them

To empower and engage your team in decision making, build a foundation of trust through a focus on truly knowing one another. Empower every voice through hearing each other’s stories, experiences, and values.
