Auf diesen Trugschluss bin ich persönlich auch schon reingefallen. Damals war ich in der Versicherungsbranche tätig und beriet ein Ehepaar zum Thema Altersvorsorge. Sie hat sich sehr aus dem Gespräch rausgenommen, obwohl es auch um sie ging. Ich habe nicht verstanden, wie desinteressiert frau sein konnte. Zum Glück habe ich mich dann wieder aufs den Inhalt des Gespräches konzentriert und habe mit gezielten Fragen das Interesse der Frau wecken können. Sie hat sich langsam an das Thema herangetastet und fand es dann sogar sehr spannend, sich mit der Thematik auseinander zu setzen. Diese Entwicklung war faszinierend und für mich eine sehr gute Lehre.

Die Frage, die sich mir in diesem Zusammenhang stellt ist: Wird das Argument absichtlich falsch dargestellt? Oder habe ich mich eventuell missverständlich ausgedrückt. Auf jeden Fall lohnt es sich, gezielt nachzufragen, wie mein Gegenüber es verstanden hat oder verstehen will. Anschließend ist der Ball wieder bei mir, um klar und deutlich meinen Standpunkt zu vertreten und voll und ganz dahinter zu stehen.

Die Verlockung der Einfachheit. Oder Bequemlichkeit. Das habe ich auch schon bei mir beobachtet. Ich habe etwas von jemanden gelesen und fand die Idee gut. Sofort habe ich mich an die Arbeit gemacht, um diese in mein Business zu integrieren. Ohne sie zu hinterfragen. Mit dem verheerenden Ergebnis: Alle Mühen waren umsonst. Denn es hat sich im Nachgang herausgestellt, dass diese Idee für mich mehr Nachteile als Vorteile bringt. So habe ich alles wieder eingestampft. Schade für die Zeit und Liebesmühe. Mein Learning darauf: Stoße ich auf eine Idee oder Vorschlag lasse ich ihn erstmal auf mich wirken. Ich schlafe bewusst eine Nacht darüber und schaue am nächsten Tag, wie ich dann dazu stehe. Manches hat sie so von ganz alleine erledigt.
