How can you create a timely, relevant, and actionable strategy evaluation system?

Understand your place in time and space i.e. the market, the dynamics, challenges, trends, hypes, knowledge etc. As you develop the strategy these two change in business. The strategy needs to adapt, modify and accept these changes. Dynamic strategy is a new norm of business and should be widely considered.

I think the evaluation criteria have problems in placing so many metrics which ultimately causes complications in producing good and targeted measures. I often see that the work of managers is spent just tracking metrics rather than carrying out the innovation and creativity that is needed in this era. Maybe it would be better if the Evaluation Criteria just refers to OKR... it's much simpler and easier to track.

One area that is often overlooked for change management and evaluation is internal buy-in among the general staff. It's more common to focus on the stakeholder group. However, when everyone understands how they contribute to the strategy - no matter how small the contribution - performance across the board is better and the strategy is achieved more quickly. It helps everyone focus on going in the same direction, working towards the same goal. Measuring this will help identify areas of confusion or concern among the broader team that can be addressed as other adjustments and improvements are implemented.

Gotta be clear-cut on the different external assumptions that underlay the strategy , in order to measure and get an early warning if they deviate.

▶️ First of all we need to define our Vision and our business Values! ⏩ Now a clear description on each item may help to have a proper statment and proiority for each one of them. ⏩ Now it's time to make sure that there is a relevant pi/kpi to map them accordingly then we may start compliments them as per their priority! 🔁 Now it's time to debug designed system via checking your team and client feedback somhow let's make sure that we are modifying it wisely. ⏺ Sometimes we'll find a feedback which needs a major change on strategy where we missed an important subject which we need to record it as a useful lesson learned scenario 🎥

You should choose wisely which data will be used to develop insights and information. This data needs to be thoroughly checked, monitored, tracked and updated to be able to provide the right insight. Proper metrics and data governance should in place.

It's important to establish the cadence for measurement based upon what you're measuring rather than trying to measure everything upon the same cadence. For example, strategic initiatives tied to expansion or rollout of new products should be moving at a swift pace and may be measured monthly or quarterly while an ongoing KPI such as customer satisfaction may be measured on a less frequent basis. Staying on top of metrics and keeping stakeholders informed will help in maintaining buy-in on the strategy and momentum for supporting the actions needed to move it forward.

💡 The strategy statments evaluation revise cycle is depends on business type, lifetime and project start time! and it may differ for different industries 🕯 ▪️Basically 1st three months are the red zone where you need to monitor everything on time to make sure your clients impacts addressing with minimum extra cost for both side and fix all existing bug urgently. ▪️2nd Q outcome will bring proper analytic data to decid about its sequence for Q2 and ... You may choose daily, weekly, bW, M or even quarterly sequence to check strategy statments.

Strategy is of no use when it is not communicated to the people clearly. In order to evaluate the strategy effectiveness, these are vital steps. 1. Document your strategy and more importantly communicate to your people frequently 2. Establish a feedback loop within the strategy that is continuous 3. Assess the feedback and rate your strategy in a quantitative manner 4. Take action on the feedback received by altering the strategy and again communicate the change in strategy to your people

The crucial element of the strategy is the communication. You have to plan and deliver strategy to every stakeholder, to explain why, how and what. Without stakeholders' buy-in eveu strategy are just list of wishes. Change management and stakeholder management are key components every manager needs to perfect.
