This is a double-edged sword because if it’s a successful strike, the people showing up to work will just show how far the company is willing to prove it’s “right.” also, if you’re hiring temporary workers to break the strike, they will get the raw end of the stick while working and if the strike is successful because they may not have a job at the end of the strike. You prove nothing by keeping the lights on and showing the striking workers that “we don’t need you.” lastly, the effects of striking can live on forever with what you do during the strike, positive or negative, on either side.
