For the last 3 years I've been recording a Podcast where the host lives in the same city as I do (Dunedin, New Zealand) and the producers are based in the UK. Since I already had an acoustically treated room, good microphones and headphones, my first aim was to achieve a way to provide the producer with a live feed of the microphone. So using Logic Pro and Zoom was great, because I don't need to restart Logic Pro when selecting an Audio Output Device (with Protools I need to restart the session). Secondly, I needed to provide the host with the script in a way where he was able to read any changes done by the producer during the recording, so I asked them to share the script with me through Google Docs.

This is a must in Audio Post-Production: before uploading or sending anything to a client or a team member, make sure to listen to everything you'll be delivering. I tend to do this and then send myself an email with everything that I thought needed to be fixed or changed. I make these changes or fixes and give the audio one more listen to make sure everything's up to a good standard. If you can ask someone else in your team for feedback before delivering don't hesitate to do so. A second opinion is always welcome.
