For performance evaluation, be very specific at the start of employment and set clear expectations. Help team members to understand the critical importance of their roles, give them tools and resources. Be a role model, that is the best kind of leaders.

I agree & technology is making it that much easier to keep live tracking on merchandising execution & feedback reporting. Merchandising apps now allow team members to geo-tag at the execution location & upload proof of execution. So field teams & merchandisers are no longer inundated with the admin of reporting completion or flagging issues via e-mails, whatsapp or some tedious excel documents. Leveraging technology to make end to end communication, execution tracking & strike rate/ performance reporting quicker is crucial in this line of work.
