Transparency in AI is as relatable as acting in good faith in business. If we want understanding, trust and faith in AI and machine learning solutions, we have to be prepared to explain the use of our design, implementation and results. Without this, solutions can become mysterious, vague and unrealized in its’ capabilities. Further, the use case we exemplify becomes harder to apply to new problems because of the lack of clarity. As we move forward in the revolution that AI has become, we also have a responsibility to consider how the outcomes that our solutions provide will affect industries, jobs and people. These transparency ideas will allow industries to understand the practicality, consequences and further applications of its use.

As in many fields, try not to take a "tick-the-box" approach. This means that you should do more than the minimum. These standards represent a baseline to achieve in transparency, but they do not consider the unique solution you are working on. When in doubt, maximise transparency without threatening your intellectual property.
