How can you establish trust with potential partners?

In my experience, showing straight up what the potential partner gets to enjoy above and beyond others - or what your clear distinguishing factor is, is key. Building relationships with companies in climes different from mine is hard because they have formed an opinion (largely correct) about the risks inherent in such relationships. How do I get ahead of the pack? Frankness about my hunger for the relationship, passion about my differentiation factors, eagerness to show what we are about and openness to physically meet and feel each other out eyeball to eyeball! The key here is to understand, that people can "feel" your intent when you interact with them. So first of all think about your intent. Is it valuable for both sides? If not, re-consider it. Otherwise the other side will feel "something wrong" and your chance to establish necessary trust lowers. The best way how to create trust is to be clear about your intent, to explain it to others and check, if they understand it. Then ask others to clarify their intent in the situation.

Understand your partner needs, be transparent and open. Always look for opportunities that are win win rather than just you winning. Do as you say will do, let your words be your actions.

First of all it is to showing trust , then they can be oppen to demonstrate their capacity , their value, more then that it's to imprest you , what can they bring , to can cooperate together .

We all speak different "foreign" language, so first steps of creating trust is to spend enough time with others. In this way we learn about their language and about their mental maps. Later we can put our meanings into right words others understand. Ambiguity goes away with every good coversation. Final thought: time is the key. You cannot speed up trust.

Is your partner a win-win thinker? Then put your cards on the table. Open to them. In this way you clarify your intent and invite the other side to do the same. When you feel, that there is no win-win attitude at the other side of the table and your situation allows it, say: I decided to not continue since it would not bring a good long-term cooperation.

A nice example of this is the world of professional sport. Look at all those statistics associated with every player. These numbers proves their credibility. They are regularly updated and considered when a coach picks up a team for a new game.

A big hurdle to overcome here is our emotions. To be good at either giving or receiving feedback is to realise, that there will always be emotions associated with this interchange of information. To get used to it is the key of mastering feedback. If you master your emotions you can be rational about the information you receive or provide to others.
