To help clients understand their human rights, I start by getting to understand their specific situation, problems, and needs. This means asking as many questions as needed - and activelly listening to their answers, with empathy and care. Only when I fully understand what is happening and what they're going through can I give advice tailored to their unique case. I can then provide information and answer questions about their human rights, like explaining the basic principles of human rights at different levels (e.g. international agreements, national and local laws, and organizational rules), and identify which are MOST adequate to the person's case. If needed, I might suggest consulting a specialized legal professional.

Court decisions in favor of human rights in a country, at the regional, or international levels are also a useful way to identify key rights that are upheld. Such decisions help to look at the interpretation of existing rights under a constitution or existing law, as well as new rights enshrined under a newly adopted law.

I can assist clients in recognizing and understanding their human rights by guiding them through the identification of the specific rights relevant to their circumstances, ensuring a clear understanding of the protections and entitlements afforded to them.

Hay mujeres que se sienten atacadas por el hecho de anteponer su maternidad a su vida profesional. En el otro sentido también pasa. Pero lo cierto es que un objetivo y otro son igual de respetables. Cuando te fijas una meta, sientes que tus derechos se vulneran y no encuentras salida, es necesario tener la suficiente humildad para reconocer que no eres un superhombre o una heroína y buscar ayuda.

In meinem Augen ist nicht nur das Ziel sondern auch der anhaltende positive Aspekt zu erläutern wesentlich. Welche Rechte könnten dabei helfen das Ziel zu erreichen? Beispiel: Der Bewerber braucht ein bestimmtes Programm um zu tippen, weil eine Seheinschränkung besteht. Das Unternehmen kann sich keine Software leisten. So kann man das Teilhabegesetz anwenden und eine Förderung für die Software bei der Bundesagentur für Arbeit stellen.

Al inicio de cualquier proceso de coaching o antes de empezar una formación, dedico un tiempo a mantener una conversación desde una escucha activa y utilizando preguntas poderosas. In any case, I always aim to promote self-confidence and provide customised tools and tips to help them develop the ability to stand up for what's right, in the way that has more strategic chances to be successful.

How to sensitize the client on the topic of human rights? It seems simple, but it is more complex. In my humble opinion, we should start with the example, what I mean, that companies must start from respecting the rights of their employees, at all levels. It is common to see that some, depending on their level within the organization, have more benefits and that others are excluded from these benefits. I can give more examples where human rights are not respected in the company, but it would be the subject of another conversation. If, as a company, you really want to contribute to raising customer awareness on this issue, you must start from being consistent with the company's staff, to be able to project what you do as a company.

From my perspective, it begins with an individual acknowledging and celebrating their inherent worth and value, along with the recognition of their human rights. When one fully embraces their right to speak up, stand up, and actively engage in matters of justice, they become an unstoppable force. This empowerment begins with the decision to take control of one's destiny by being well-informed about their rights. Regularly recognizing and affirming one's own achievements is a laudable practice. Moreover, this growth is further enhanced when one consciously assists others in realizing and embracing their human rights.
