The first golden advice I usually give to clients who want to use their public relations for the benefit of strengthening the stock, or reaching investors and the public, is to make announcements only when they really have something to say. For listed companies this is an easier task. The limits are greater and the guidelines for when to issue a public notice are very clear. For the other companies, I recommend always being as transparent as possible, building on the credibility of the company and the public relations office that represents it, and conveying clear messages with as little use of superlatives as possible. Stick to the facts, don't inflate predictions and numbers and yes, try to keep it in the right proportions.
