Taking the time to psuedo-code the problem before I start coding has been immensely helpful in solving, as well as understanding, these different problems. It's all too common to get into the habit of thinking about the solution to the problem as methods, operators, and CS "jargon". Being able to breakdown these problems into spoken or written language is a allows you to actually "talk through" the problems. Understand them as more than a pattern of code that outputs a specific solution.

When it comes to problem solving, it is better to consider various approaches and choose the best approach based on your goal towards solving it. Consider for example opening a Banana. It can be opened in two common ways or from two different ends. One can open it from the stalked end or from the other end. However, both these approaches leads to the banana inside. For eg. You can reach to a certain floor of a building on a stair or using elevator. If you use a stair, you may decrease your belly fat. But if you use an elevator you will save time and energy. So, it all depends on what you want. Depending on it you choose the right approach to solve that problem.

Decide on a method or algorithm that suits the problem. Consider factors like time complexity and space complexity. Eg: For sorting, choose an approach like Quick Sort for efficiency, or Bubble Sort for simplicity, depending on the requirements.

The second step would be to design a solution plan for the problem, for which there are various tools within the programming logic, previously designed algorithms that help solve the problems. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, depending on the problem context and its approach to solving the problem, it is essential to know the programming scenarios of the logical algorithm paradigms and their application in different scenarios, determining their complexity through the evaluation of their different solution approaches and thus determine which is the most appropriate to solve the problem posed.

Now, you open the algorithmic cookbook. Tons of recipes staring back at you! Bubble sort, quicksort, merge sort... the names alone sound like magical incantations. Don't panic! It is of utmost importance to choose the appropriate programming language to know the specific syntax and logic of the programming language, use appropriate libraries and data structures, you should also follow technically sound coding practices, use appropriate online tools such as compilers or interpreters, to Help writing and executing the generated code.

Time to get your hands dirty! Write the code, line by line, like casting spells to summon the algorithmic beast. Don't worry about making a mess (bugs) in the kitchen (code editor), that's how you learn the recipe best. Just remember, even the best chefs burn things sometimes, so embrace the mistakes and keep practicing!

Run the algorithm through these test cases, noting the differences between the expected and actual results. Examine any disparities carefully, then use debugging to fix any mistakes. Practice often. My goal during interview season was three practice problems per week. I don’t think that’s too crazy, but if you’re consistent I’m confident it will be enough to give you a major confidence boost and help you feel more relaxed when your interviewers give you a technical challenge, because by that point you’ve done them a hundred times - you eat these challenges for breakfast.

I am surprised that 1 person only spoke about 'time/space complexity' (TSC) and no mention of 'data structure' (DS) was made. Both are necessary to algorithm design. Also, there are many ways to approach problem solving (PS), and many methods to process it. 1)'Search' is brute force for finding a solution when different paths can lead to a solution (graphs) or only 1 path can lead to a solution (trees), if any. 2)'Model-based' P.S. is more subject to over/under determinism which leads to 0/1/infinity solutions. 3)'Heuristics', solves a problem based on a set of rules, acting by region in a discourse space. Algorithm implementation depends on the paradigm used: its TSC depends on DS choice while PS adresses simple vs. class of solutions.
