But, they also have a down-side that's worth considering when adopting a cloud-based approach: - Limited control and flexibility (Since the entire infrastructure is owned, managed and maintained by a third-party platform) - Vendor lock-in (Once you have started working with a particular vendor, it's hard to make the switch to another as data transfer and migration of services is still a big thing.) - Cost (Yes, up to some extent, they are effective, but once you have a large-scale application, the cost of these solutions becomes a concern.)
