Defining "Value" is one of the main pillars of lean principles. It refers to identifying the value that will be added to the product to make the customer staisfaied, and achieving this while maximizing profitability and reducing waste. Therefore, the tools used in implementing the Hoshin Kanri concept will not conflict with the tools of Lean, especially the use of X Matrix. It is easy to integrate them with the Value Stream Map. In X Matrix, they show us the direction, as well as the information and steps to be followed, and what are the performance indicators. By integrating them with the VSM, we will be able to identify any obstacles, as well as sources of waste, and eliminate them in order to achieve the desired goals."
