I have found using models like PICO helpful to structure literature review and I used PICO when completing my systemic review. When writing literature reviews for research studies I find it helpful to think of a funnel. Start if really wide and narrow the down to the research questions.

I love the idea of a organized tool such as PICO( patient, population, or problem), intervention, comparison, and outcome. And you can use all four parameters or whatever information you have.

The objectives has to do with what you aim to find out by doing the study and that has nothing to do with a literature review.
