With the modern HRMS we can optimize the HR operations efficiency. In the current scenario it is very difficult to manage day-to-day HR operations due to lack of robustness in the HRMS software. I have done lots of research on this pain area before starting a HRMS product design. Process and technology systems are not necessarily aligned. In the discovery phase of looking into solutions for operational ineffectiveness problems, the people, processes, and tech should be taken into consideration. People: Determine process owners and have solicit feedback from other business functions that touch the process. Processes: Assign process owners and subject matter experts to redesign the process. Validate with other process stakeholders. Tech: Analyze gaps for the current state process to move closer to the envisioned future state process.
