micro grids are alternative form of electricity generation and supply of electricity that is green which doesn't contribute to the greenhouse gas effect , and they are often smart (technologically monitored and regulated) such as solar panel, wind turbine and other forms of energy storage. As a matter of fact, in some countries of the world solar panels are placed on water combined with hydroelectrical power generation to power the city. this micro grids can easily be placed and found in the environment without any causing any negative effect to human, animal or nature. moreso, if not in use , perhaps damaged they can be easily replace with another one, without causing environmental nussaince.

if a project is beautiful on paper and well documented, yet lack the power to be communicated effectively to neccessary stakeholders, and other forms of key players involved in the implementation of microgrid policies, it may not work. There is communication and their is language. it is important to always speak the stakeholders language for them to buy into the policy. keep it real, authentic and simple at the same time. also, when dealing with policy formulation , ensure that the stakeholders can trust your numbers, and the process by you walking them through the policies such that they see themselves to be playing a key role in the project. In leadership it's called "Sense of Ownership" Communicate viable value to them always.

One thing I have found so true in business of any sort is that, story telling sells, it is an effective way of communicating an idea and how it is said is important, you can easily talk about the precedent of where the product was used, it benefits, significance, and feedbacks. sometimes, including economic advantage. in a given project in Urban and regional planning historical background is necessary, literature review and theoretical frameworks helps to validate a claim. Good stories are appealing with good logic such as visual display like pictures, data gathering charts, graphs or pie chart, power point slides, locational maps of microgrids installations if you want them to buy into your idea.

I completely agree with the idea of getting a feedback for users of a product or from stakeholders. they help the visionary keep and open mind to improve on the products, feedbacks enhance new possibilities and unlimited creativity. anything that must grow strong must be open to criticism so as to stand the test of time after going through modification.
