What do you do if you need to showcase your decision-making experience in an interview?

In the medical field, I would showcase my decision-making experience by discussing a scenario where I had to make a critical medical decision for a patient. I could describe a situation where a patient presented with vague symptoms, I had to quickly assess the situation to determine the appropriate management. I would explain how I gathered relevant information, discussed with colleagues and specialists. Then I would discuss the decision I made and how it positively impacted the patient's health outcome. Additionally, I would highlight any follow-up action taken to monitor the patients progress and adjust the treatment plan as necessary. Example showcase adept medical decision-making under pressure.

The STAR is a great way to showcase. Using this framework to share the logic behind your decision, your why and what motivated you on a specific. Knowing how you think and the logic behind the decision, makes it is possible to show your experience and seniority.
