There's this stigma that networking has to be this super official structured thing, and networking at it's core is just making "business friendships." So why not approach it like you would making other friendships? I've made some of my favorite connections through non-traditional networking. I've met people through tennis lessons, walking groups, game nights, pub trivia, ice skating classes, dodgeball, the dog park... It can happen anywhere in the wild, and it can happen even quicker if you're in a class or event where you're already surrounded by people you already have something in common with! Meet people.
