Hands down, the best way to differentiate yourself from others is to research the company. Not just the obvious stuff on the website. Look the company and the people up on YouTube, social media, LinkedIn and the news. Be able to talk about your projections for the company and industry that you are interviewing for. Have relevant stories and examples to showcase that you have expertise in everything that is on the job posting. Avoid hypothetical answers. Give an actual situation so that they can see how you would really handle the situation, not just in theory. Ask for the job. Tell them you are very interested in the position and ask about the next steps. Then send a thank you email addressing something you connected on.

-Start by having a detailed knowledge about the comapny. Read articles, visit their website. -prepare a statement describing how you intend to bridge any gaps that exist and effectively move forward. Being the first to raise the topic demonstrates your professional transparency and confidence to anticipate and address what they may be concerned about.

Ask yourself: what skills & experiences do I have that are among the requirements or qualifications? Am I a reasonable match for at least 85% of what's requested? Does my resume & cover letter demonstrate that I'm a match & can make an immediate impact if hired? If you win an interview, be likeable. Managers want to hire people that will work well on a team. Create 2-minute stories that highlight some of the job requirements with results to prove you can add value right away. Ask thoughtful questions focused on the company & job to show that you're sincerely interested in the opportunity. Be present and engaged during the interview.

This would be the best advice to get the best chance to being selected in your dream job.
