As Nike says, "Just do it." You will be scared. Trust me, it took me 3 years to leave my very cushy (awesome) corporate job. Yes, evaluate the risks but if you desire to be an entrepreneur just find a way to leave. You will be very glad you did. Again, just do it!

Don't forget that you'll be paying for all of your benefits yourself. Don't forget to make estimated tax payments once you begin earning more than you are spending.

Consider partnering with other like minded individuals and start working as a team or in cooperation to help delegate some of the tasks to team members who are skilled in a particular area. After you have worked with a small team to run an organization you will have learned from others on how to do the things that you did not know how to do.
