Prioritizing client relationships, specialize and implement targeted marketing is such a pivot to move up and stand out . Other elements that are important and can help are seeking mentorship, diversify clients and focus on continuous improvement. These steps will ensure we have a long-term success .

To boost your consulting career, first, assess your strengths and weaknesses objectively. Identify areas of expertise and skills needing improvement. Network with peers and mentors for guidance and opportunities. Pursue relevant training or certifications to enhance your skill set. Continuously seek feedback and adapt accordingly. Embrace challenges as learning opportunities to grow professionally and expand your consulting repertoire.

I always say this here and I say it to my mentees, my team and people I coach. 1. You MUST decide if consulting is for you (this is no joke, you must be willing to put insane amount of effort to succeed. Consulting is ruthless game only top will succeed and stay.), 2. Understand this leaving consulting is no shame (there are many people that did stint in consulting and now are on the other side working for clients and many are hiring consultancies), 3. Don’t be shame who you are (there are folks that decided to leave consulting become stay home mom, or travel the world, or become a farmer, it’s all okay be your self follow passion). So again remember - DECIDE & ACT - is consulting for you? Yes. Good. Get ready to do hard work, good luck!
