Two ideas here. 1. Ensure you're incentivising the right behaviour to drive collaboration and not competition. If you're using last tough attribution to assign budgets and credit, this often leads to teams competing. Ditto if they have different metrics that don't necessarily align to the same goals (e.g. marketing has MQLs, sales revenue...and MQLs aren't correlating to more sales). 2. You have to build a culture of psychological safety and that means celebrating failures, where they were well thought through and executed. Not every idea works, but if you sweep those under the carpet, or worse, punish people/teams for them then you'll kill any spirit of innovation.
