Firstly, I initiate open discussions to identify any underlying issues or concerns hindering teamwork. By actively listening to each team member's perspective, I ensure everyone feels valued and heard. Next, I facilitate team-building activities and workshops focused on enhancing communication, trust, and mutual respect. Additionally, I encourage diversity of thought and ensure all voices are heard during meetings and decision-making processes. By promoting a supportive and inclusive environment, I empower my team to leverage their collective strengths and work together towards common goals effectively.

Identify member having negative attitude. Make the changes which create positivity. be role model of good n positive behaviour. Let team solve the problem collectively. Involve each members to provide suggestion n let them only identify pain areas n solutions. Many a time solution is very simple as problem is made bigger due to few members behaviour n attitude issues.

To address the issues your team may be having, you have to know what is at the core of them. This should always be top of mind because the closer you work with them and coach them on collaborating, the better it will be and issues may never arise. Start these habits from Day 1. Get to know your team as much as you can on a professional level, know what works best for each one of them, what doesn't, etc. There are many ways to do this as the prompt says and other methods outside of them. Find what works best for your leadership style and team dynamic but start from the beginning!

Be very clear in what you expect. Set forth roles for each and what they are responsible for. Some of the other things in this prompt are Business 101, and most people working at a company understand them. If they don't, re-evaluate your team. But the bottom line is that you have to be upfront, clear, and concise on what they will be gauged on for their role.

Nothing matters more in life than communication. Nothing. Sorry but its true. It can alleviate more issues before they start than anything else. I have worked with companies that both under-communicate and over-communicate. Find the right balance to know what will stick best with your team but its better to over-communicate than under. People will be lost, unsure of their deadlines, and much more if you don't properly convey these simple things.

There is a term I use for this but basically, align with your team needs and wants. Some you'll be able to fulfill, some you won't. But never call your team "family." Its becoming more and more toxic because employees know thats not true. Its just corporate psychology to attempt to make you feel good. What do they say when you're part of a layoff? We all know the answer to that. Now, that doesn't mean you can't create a "family-like" atmosphere and try to make people feel great about being there, working with you, etc. That's good culture, but its still work and work alone. Your team will trust you more if you keep to that and don't blur the lines.

One of the hardest things to master is this. Conflict resolution almost always involves compromise unless someone is clearly in the wrong and refuses to acknowledge such. Still, be open, listen to the problems of each party, and find resolutions that work for all. Showing too much favor to one party can cause resentment. And resentment is corrosive and can spread. Avoid that at all costs and simply be empathetic to all involved.
